Corillo Andante

The Corillo Andante of Escuela Libre de Música Antonio Paoli at Caguas, Puerto Rico was founded in 2010 by its current director, Professor Dámaris M. Rivera Sánchez. This choir is the first of its kind at the institution. It is composed of students specializing in various musical instruments, including voice. It has participated in the ELMAP's traditional Christmas and spring concerts. It has also been part of the "Honor Choir" of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and in four editions of the "Convivio Coral Criollo" of the Municipality of Caguas. It has been the choir for the opera "Amahl y los Visitantes Nocturnos" (chamber opera) by Gian Carlo Menotti, and for selections from the musical theater work "Beauty and the Beast" by Alan Menken; both ELMAP productions. In 2024, it served as the host choir for the "Aplauso Musical" project of the "Vamonos Tour" company. In April and June 2025, they will participate in the “Juventud de mi Patria” event of the Olga Iglesias Foundation, and the “Suma Cum Laude Festival” in Vienna, Austria, respectively.
