Musicall Youth Orchestra

Musicall Youth Orchestra

Musicall is a nonprofit organization that believes in the transformative power of music education. Founded in 2013, Musicall started with just 40 families in the Miami area, offering programs such as Family Music, Four Hands, Music and Movement, and Prep Classes for children of different ages and needs. Since then, Musicall has rapidly expanded its programs in multiple locations across Miami-Dade County, including afterschool programs, summer camps, and youth symphony programs.

Our Youth Orchestra was created in 2015. Musicall's Youth Orchestra is a group of some of the top student musicians in Miami. These young musicians consistently rank highly in the All-State Band and Orchestra Competition and are leaders in their schools and communities. The Youth Orchestra is a unique effort to reach underserved high school musicians and give them a sense of community service. In addition to standard orchestra rehearsals, Musicall offers unique classes, such as Theory/Piano Lab, Instrumental Technique, and Chamber Groups, to foster student teamwork and creativity.

The Musicall Youth Orchestra performs several concerts annually and participates in collaborative concerts with other community organizations. The Youth Orchestra provides a unique opportunity for talented young musicians to hone their skills and contribute to their community through music.

In the summer of 2022, Musicall's Youth Orchestra participated in The Giovanelli Youth Orchestras Festival in Florence, Italy.
