Hsinchu County Cheng-Gong Junior High School's orchestra was established in 2012, comprising students from the Artistic Talent Music Program and some from regular classes. It has now entered its 11th year as a performing ensemble. The orchestra maintains rigorous training, with a rich curriculum that allows students to focus and diligently pursue their musical education. This dedication enables more aspiring young musicians to participate in ensemble performances, playing a variety of music genres and styles, and showcasing their talents. Through constant rehearsals, performances, and participation in competitions, students gain valuable insights and experiences, fostering an appreciation for the purest aspects of music and its beauty. The Orchestra has participated in numerous important competitions and performances in the past few years, demonstrating their exceptional musical talent and achieving excellent results. From 2012 to 2024, the Orchestra has consistently participated in the National Student Music Competitions and achieved 'Excellent' or 'Outstanding' results. Since 2009, the orchestra has been organizing annual concert events and actively participating in both local and international music concerts as well as charity performances. These engagements demonstrate the orchestra's commitment to musical excellence and their active involvement in the community.

Ming-Shang Shen, a native of Hsinchu County, Taiwan, is a highly respected conductor, bassoonist, and music educator in the country.
Ming-Shang Shen, during his studies at the National Academy of Arts, he excelled and participated in numerous performances with professional orchestras, representing them on international stages. He founded the "Harmony Music Chamber Orchestra" and actively promotes chamber music performances and music education. He has led multiple orchestras to attain remarkable outcomes in national music competitions, demonstrating his deep expertise in the realm of music.
