ENSEMBLES 2024

Taipei Municipal Tian-Mu Junior High School Wind Band

Taipei Municipal Tian-Mu Junior High School Wind Band

The Tian-Mu Junior High School Wind Ensemble (TMWE), established in 1995, is now in its 29th generation. TMWE is composed of a group of dedicated and passionate junior high school students who share a common love for music. Currently conducted by Mr. Wang Zhan, Mr. Fu Chin-Chaio, and Mr. Chen Chun-Li, with administrative instructors Ms. Tsai Yu-Man and Ms. Huang Ming-Hsu, TMWE consistently excels in various music competitions within Taipei City and at the national level, as well as actively participates in off-campus charity performances. In recent years, TMWE was honored to perform at Taiwan's three largest concert venues, including the National Concert Hall, the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, and the National Taichung Theater. With these performances, TMWE showcased their talent and shared the joy of music across the north, central, and southern regions of Taiwan. In 2019, in honor of the centenary anniversary of the Presidential Office building, TMWE was invited to perform at the Presidential Office Concert, which was attended by tens of thousands of audiences. At TMWE, ensemble members grow and explore their love for music in our warm and supportive environment. We strive for musical excellence and foster collaboration and camaraderie among us. Beyond the stage, we embrace our role as cultural ambassadors. Together, we weave melodies that resonate across time.
